What the Visit Covers

Maintenance the City Does Not Do for You

Annual Inspection: Routine maintenance should be performed so the hydrant works. That means inspection and maintenance annually under NFPA 25.
Private Property: This is for hydrants you own or manage, not the municipal hydrant at the curb that the town already flushes.
New Work and Repair: We also do new construction, troubleshooting and repair, not only the annual visit.

Why owners schedule it

What Maintenance Is For

Failure During an Emergency: Preventative maintenance reduces the risk of hydrant failure when it is needed.
Insurance Context: Proper maintenance should increase ISO fire scores and can reduce insurance rates, depending on the insurer. We do not quote a savings figure.
Same Barrington Company: Hydrant work is scheduled on (603) 312-7394 with the rest of AllTek's services.
